- Doctorate in Science and Technology in Environmental Engineering, accredited by the Mexican Postgraduate Quality Program SEP-CONACYT (PNPC), at the Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design (CIATEJ).
- Applied research related with Watershed Management and Integrated Water Resources Management under the context of climate change through Hydrological Modelling and Geographic Information Systems.
- Research stay in the Department of Aquatic Ecosystem Analysis (ASAM) at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ, Magdeburg, Germany.
- Master degree in Science and Technology in Environmental Engineering, accredited by the Mexican Postgraduate Quality Program SEP-CONACYT (PNPC), at the Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design (CIATEJ).
- Applied research related with Watershed Management and Sustainable Water Management for climate change adaptation and mitigation.

- Participation in the workshop Watershed Management given by the University of Montana and the US Forest Services in Santiago of Chile.
