Maria has over 12 years of professional experience exclusively focused on sustainable energy financing and consulting. She has led and executed over 50 financial advisory projects in Latin America (chiefly Mexico, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador and Bolivia), including support to Municipalities in financing sustainable investments. She is speaker at renewable energy events and trainer on Sustainable Finance and thematic bonds, in particular Green Bonds, considering economic, financial, environmental, and social dimensions. She has a long-track record advising Municipalities, Financial Institutions and Private Investors on business models and instruments to finance green.
She is speaker in sector events, quantum expert witness in renewable energy litigations and international arbitrations (Stockholm Chamber of Commerce), and author of articles related to renewable energy matters. Key expertise in project finance, financial analysis, project valuation, working closely with different stakeholders: technical advisors, lawyers, financiers, and accountants. She has a long track record working with institutional investors, IPP, developers, industrial consumers, energy companies, EPC/developers, and alongside public institutions, energy associations, and International Financial Institutions.
