I joined NIUA in January 2020 as part of the Morgenstadt Global Smart City Initiative (MGI) team. The mission of the project as well as the project location in Kochi motivated me to apply for the position. For my masters’ dissertation, I worked in Kerala on solid waste management and sustainability. The overall climate context of MGI is highly relevant in the urban landscape and aligns with my previous experience of working in the governance arena of Kerala.
